Developing the seed idea, we started with:
1) User task flows
We started with the user goal; find me a date. And ideated around additional needs, conerns. Every person is different, and every person will navigate differently- the design needs reflect and serve up flexibility and allow for the way each user might approach it. An interface diagram is the road map to your user’s end result to set all the highways and byways the user should take.
I created user experience task flows to the main interaction decisions for a user when searching for a match, allowing me to interject the user into the flow of the application and define if the theoretical model agrees with the user model.
2) Wireframe
After a few rounds of brainstorming, I transitioned and parlayed thoughts into wireframes. The work included applying information architecture, defining interactions and behavior of app screens and their elements.
Two variations were created. Based on positive feedback from user testing, we selected the modern, black & white template. See below, with pilot.
Then the fun began with UI, testing topography, color schema et al.
